💡What is CalVerse?
CalVerse is a free financial calculator hub built for people who want instant, accurate answers to real money questions — without creating an account, paying a subscription, or sitting through a sales pitch for a financial product they didn't ask about.
We cover both India and the US — 46 US calculators and 18 India-specific tools, all updated for FY 2026-27 and the 2026 tax year. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser, with results that update live as you type. No data ever leaves your device. No server ever sees your numbers.
Whether you're figuring out your home loan EMI, checking whether a 15-year or 30-year mortgage saves you more money, calculating SIP returns for retirement, understanding US capital gains tax, or comparing the new vs old India income tax regime — there's a dedicated tool for it, built to give you a real answer rather than a vague estimate.
👤Who Built CalVerse?
CalVerse was built and is maintained by Akshay Potnis, based in India. The site grew out of a simple frustration: most financial calculators online are either too basic to be useful, buried inside platforms that exist to sell you something, or designed for one country with no equivalent for another.
The goal was to build something different — a single place with every calculator you'd actually need, working correctly, with real explanatory content, updated for the current tax year, free to use without any catch. That's still the goal. CalVerse has no investors, no subscription tier, and no plan to add one.
The site launched in 2025 and has grown to 60+ calculators covering both Indian (FY 2026-27) and US (2026) financial contexts. The blog covers personal finance topics that context the calculators — tax guides, investment comparisons, and how-to explanations written for people who want to understand their numbers, not just get them.

⭐What Makes CalVerse Different?
🎯Our Philosophy
Most financial tools online exist to capture your email, push a premium upgrade, or steer you toward a sponsored product. The calculator is the bait; the sales funnel is the product. CalVerse was built on a different premise: accurate financial calculations should be free, fast, and available to everyone, whether you earn in rupees or dollars.
We started with the tools people actually search for — mortgage payment, SIP returns, income tax estimate — and kept adding based on what was genuinely missing. No venture funding, no paywall roadmap, no hidden agenda. The calculators work exactly as advertised.
- Free forever — every calculator, every result, no credit card ever
- Both India & US — the only free site that covers both markets in depth
- No dark patterns — no fake urgency, no forced sign-ups, no misleading results
- Privacy first — all calculations run in your browser; nothing is sent to our servers
- Honest disclaimers — we tell you when results are estimates, not guaranteed figures
- Always current — updated for 2026 IRS brackets, FY 2026-27 India tax slabs, and latest rates
💼How CalVerse Is Funded
CalVerse is free to use and always will be. The site is funded through two sources, both disclosed openly:
- Google AdSense — display advertisements shown on calculator and blog pages. Google may use cookies to show ads relevant to your browsing history. You can opt out at Google Ad Settings. We do not control which specific ads appear.
- Affiliate links — some pages include affiliate links (currently Zerodha, Koinly). If you click and sign up, CalVerse may earn a commission at no cost to you. These relationships are always disclosed on the page. They do not influence calculator accuracy or content decisions.
These revenue streams keep the calculators free and allow us to keep building new tools. If you find CalVerse useful and want to support it without paying anything, simply using it and sharing it with someone who needs it is enough.
📚Data Sources & Accuracy Standards
Every CalVerse calculator is built from official government and regulatory sources. We do not invent rates, formulas, or tax slabs — we look them up, cite them, and update them when they change.
When a rate or rule changes, we update the affected calculators, add a "Last Updated" note, and timestamp the page. If you spot an outdated figure, email hello@calverse.co and we'll fix it within 48 hours.
⚠️Important Disclaimer
CalVerse calculators are for informational and educational purposes only. Results are estimates based on your inputs and standard financial formulas. They are not financial, tax, legal or medical advice, and should not be treated as such.
Tax rules, contribution limits, interest rates and financial regulations change regularly. Always verify critical decisions with a qualified professional — a CA or tax advisor for tax matters, a SEBI-registered investment advisor for investment decisions, and a licensed lender for loan-specific guidance.
CalVerse is not affiliated with any government body, financial institution, or regulator in India or the United States.
